Alpiq supports the 2011 Montreux Jazz Festival

For the second time in a row, Alpiq is the official partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival. The Swiss energy services provider will be providing energy-efficient solutions as well as funding for the series of concerts from 1 to 16 July 2011.

Following the successful collaboration in 2010, Swiss energy services provider Alpiq will once more be supporting the Montreux Jazz Festival. Through its subsidiary Alpiq Intec, a specialist in energy-optimising solutions for buildings, it will be providing the lighting in the VIP "Hospitality Garden" zone during the 16-day music festival. This includes the use of the latest-generation LEDs for low electricity consumption. In addition, installed solar modules will be used to cover part of the electricity requirements.
