Alpiq is again supporting the Lausanne Energy Film Festival, which aims to promote knowledge and communication about energy. As a Platinum sponsor, Alpiq is supporting the Awards Day on 2 April 2009, when the winning filmmakers in the competition receive their prizes. At this 12th edition of the event, which has mobility as its theme, Alpiq will be exhibiting the Hyb-alpha hybrid electric racing car developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich .
During the Festival, Alpiq will also present a series of short films co-produced with the Swiss television channel TSR on "Climate changes", on Wednesday 1 April 2009 from 14.00.
