OKLukas Gresnigt (47), a Dutch citizen, is a distinguished international energy expert with a proven track of record focusing on international asset strategies, energy markets, the energy transition and business development. He previously held various leadership functions at SHV Energy, a global distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and at Statkraft, a Norwegian utility specialising in renewable energy generation and energy markets. Lukas Gresnigt has excellent knowledge and 20 years of experience in international asset investment strategies for energy and infrastructure. He also has a background in international banking and M&A. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group in 1999.
Lukas Gresnigt holds a master in finance degree (with distinction) from the London Business School, an M.Sc. in chemistry from Utrecht University (NL) and an M.Sc. in chemical engineering (with honours) from the Delft University of Technology (NL).

Matthias Zwicky (65), a member of the Alpiq Group’s Executive Board and Head International since January 2020, will step down from the Alpiq Executive Board on 31 March and retire at the end of May 2022. During his career at Alpiq since 2003, he made a significant contribution towards the success of the company. He even postponed his retirement to ensure business continuity and a smooth handover to his successor.

As of 1 April 2022, the Alpiq Executive Board will consist of Antje Kanngiesser (CEO), Luca Baroni (CFO), Michael Wider (Head Switzerland), Lukas Gresnigt (Head International) and Alexandra Machnik (Head Corporate Services).
