m-way is the e-mobile centre of Switzerland, a subsidiary of the Migros retail chain. It exclusively offers electrically powered two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles to buy, rent or lease. m-way has appointed Alpiq InTec as partner for the complete maintenance and servicing sector and the supply and installation of Home Charge Devices (HCD). The HCD is a power supply unit for electrically powered vehicles which is used for garages, carports, wall-mounting applications, etc. The programmable home charging device with a 230V-16A-CEE connection, offers complete safety and greater charging convenience at home: a display for the programmable charging timer, display of the "tanked" amount of electricity and reduced charging times (6 instead of 8 hours), are just some of the features of this elegantly designed device.
The partnership includes all work associated with the installation and putting into service of the components. In addition, servicing and fault repair visits to m-way customers, either within four or eight hours depending on the contract, are also covered. "We chose Alpiq InTec as partner because this company is a leader throughout Switzerland for energy services and it is also competent on the leading edge in terms of services for all aspects of electromobility and sustainability", says Hans-Jörg Dohrmann, Managing Director of m-way.
Zero-emission mobility is an important element in the efforts to achieve a sustainable energy future. Being convinced that electricity plays a decisive role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Alpiq has for several years supported programmes for sustainable mobility. This includes the support of electrically powered vehicles for everyday use, which achieve promising energy efficiency with decisively reduced CO2 emissions. The Home Charge Device (HCD) is available with immediate effect from m-way.
