Alpiq considers reinforcing the restructuring programme

As communicated at the time of publication of the third-quarter results, Alpiq expects to close 2012 with a significantly lower result than in the previous year. Due to the ongoing deterioration in market conditions, the Board of Directors and Executive Board believe it is necessary to reinforce the restructuring programme. Additional measures are currently being explored, including the possibility of a capital increase.
